I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of North Carolina and Louisiana with over ten years of experience in the health and mental health field. I earned my Masters in Social Work (MSW) degree, with a concentration in Health/Mental Health, from Southern University at New Orleans in 2003, as well as an Associate of Science Degree in Juvenile Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Social Counseling from Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans in 2000. Since completing my education, I have had experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in settings such as inpatient psychiatric hospitals, day treatment programs, homeless shelters, and various state, private, and non-profit agencies. My areas of specialty are mood disorders, anxiety disorders, grief and loss issues, trauma, and parenting skills.
